If you’ve missed my previous posts on Ascension, you may want start at the beginning of this Ascension Series.
To summarize Ascension: “The Ascension process is about moving consciousness from one reality to another and the awareness of possible multiple realities existing simultaneously. Since a reality is a dimension, what we are undertaking is, in essence, a complete dimensional shift.”
Most of us go throughout our day existing in these meat-bodies, worrying about things like our mortgage, relationships, kids, politics, jobs, health, insurance, bills, and now we can add in a new political administration! Yikes!
We consistently get sucked into the matrix of ego and fear-based programming everywhere we turn via our beliefs, our society, our news, Facebook, etc. This programming is happenings on a collective-consciousness level. We don’t think much about collective consciousness energies as we go about our day, and yet this energy is consistently pounding into our light-body systems 24/7.
So what is consciousness anyways?
What is consciousness?
As many of you know, I offer a lot of classes on energy and sometimes I will say to attendees: “Let’s see a raise of hands for anyone who had a conversation about consciousness today.”
The faces are priceless. People often seem confused and, then, slowly maybe one or two hands pop up.
Then, I ask: “Let’s see a raise of hands for anyone who had a conversation today about your job, partner, kids, pets, or even new shoes.”
Every hand shoots up.
I then explain how you cannot HAVE the job, partner etc., without the energy of consciousness.
Consciousness is a difficult subject to grasp, much like Ascension. In fact, Ascension is directly created through our consciousness because the Ascension process is about having the awareness of multiple realities existing simultaneously and moving consciousness from one reality to another.
Ascension is CONSCIOUSNESS raising to a different level of vibration. And it will continue to change not only our planetary body, but our physical and universal bodies as well.
So, it’s important to fully understand the building blocks of consciousness.
As it’s defined, consciousness is:
- the state of being awake and aware of one’s surroundings
- the awareness or perception of something by a person
- the fact of awareness by the mind of itself and the world
In short, you’re able to experience life because you’re a conscious being. Your consciousness allows you to perceive that you are, in fact, alive. But let’s unpack it a little further.
Your Consciousness Container
Make a mental picture of your life from as far back as you can remember. You’re a tiny meat-body co-existing in a family filled with many players whose words and actions are energetically sculpting and creating your initial container of consciousness.
As a tiny child, you’re like a sponge, taking in words, pictures, vibrations of every experienced circumstance. Your experience may involve moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, neighbors, teachers, coaches and more. All these players assisted in the development of your initial imprint of what is real, which is the foundation of your full imprint of what is safe.
What Influences Our Containers
Remember in a previous post how we discussed the Matrix movie and it’s big question: ‘How Do You Define Real?’
Most of us define reality based on imprinted information supplied by others that we’ve taken into our consciousness container. This information then creates our foundation of what is safe. The energetic data filling our consciousness container includes every aspect of what we experience and what we choose to believe year after year, after year.
What happens is we continue to fill this container with beliefs from other containers such as family, society, dogma and religion, medicine, education, politics, financial institutions, and, god forbid, the media. Every day we’re told in concrete and subtle ways what to think, how to think, what to do, or what not to do.
Often, we don’t spend time thinking critically about what we put in our consciousness container so our idea about what is safe becomes controlled by these outside projections and becomes attached to “things” like jobs, paychecks, houses, and relationships. In many cases, these “things” are determined by other people’s version of safe and we unknowingly give away our sense of safe to these outside forces.
Because we cannot fully “own” these concrete things, we fear we may lose them and are forever searching for a physical, emotional, and mental connections to safe. Seldom do we go into our consciousness container to check and see if this information we filter through to create our idea of safe is indeed real.
How Your Container Creates Your Experience
Most of us simply run through each day filtering the world through our consciousness container without being aware of what our container actually holds—good, bad, and ugly. We move throughout our lives creating our entire existence using this consciousness container.
I can teach a classroom filled with attendees and each and every one of them is experiencing my words, my slides, my presentation, and even my aura from their own individualized programmed matrix or consciousness container. Energetic files are rushing through not only your brain activity but your central nervous system and entire auric fields to experience the situation from your own individual uploaded content.
A single word or concept I express could affect you in a completely different way from anyone else in that classroom simply because those words and their vibration filter through your unique container to determine how your human meat body will respond. Incredibly, there may not be one other person in the entire room, or Universe for that matter, who would react the same way—and it’s all due to the vibration of energy stored within your consciousness container.
When each of us experiences anything in life, our sentient awareness comes out of our consciousness container. Our perception and reaction to everything we encounter is 100% unique to the information stored within this personally programmed matrix.
Becoming Aware of What’s in Your Container
When we’re not aware of what’s in our container and how it’s directing our lives, we can feel a sense of anxiety or insecurity. Unfortunately, many of us have been trained by our containers to become human Doings versus human Beings. We DO, do, do, and, sadly, receive a ton of socially acceptable validation for living this way.
We run these bodies on overdrive to prove to ourselves and others that we are valid. Because if we are indeed valid, then we can feel safe. Unfortunately, we then believe this system of DOing is real. One has to DO, in order to BE, and one has to be busy in order to be safe. That’s the program.
On top of this, we add another layer—one of stuff—to the programming. If one has stuff (which we perceive as real, because we can see it, hold it, etc.) one has accomplished safe. Go, go, go is the norm. Work all day to get that paycheck, to afford that house, to drive that car, to raise that family and kids, to fear all day and night long that these things might not be there for whatever reason. If they’re not there, how do I feel safe?
Sadly, this programming has created quite a mess for the human psyche, much less human meat-body. We’re exhausted trying to find safe.
The current state of the human pre-programmed container was not what Source initially had in mind as a co-created consciousness reality.
Source energy, or the god-energies, does not have a body. Source is not a “guy.” Instead, it’s an all encompassing love, and this love energy needs a body to co-create and truly EMBODY the experience of life itself. All of us reading this Blog chose the form of a meat-body to experience our life in this incarnation.
This meat-body is made up of that consciousness container—we’re like a super-computer running the programming downloaded from childhood. In the computer age, it’s not hard to imagine how a computer might download and run the program, such as:
“We don’t do that in this family.”
“Your opinion means nothing to me.”
“You’re not allowed to believe in that.”
“You HAVE TO do this.”
We upload this information into our container, and then dedicated systems in our brain compute and access the information to determine our perspective and our actions. But how do we really become AWARE of this information in our container? And how do we know it is TRUTH?
Raising Your Consciousness
When I use the phrase “raising your consciousness,” I don’t mean we technically raise the consciousness itself. Consciousness is there all the time, and all of us are conscious to some extent. Remember, if we weren’t conscious we could not be experiencing this life. You are alive—that means you are conscious.
The question is to what degree you are conscious during this Ascension time here in Planet Earth?
As human beings, we have the incredible opportunity to find ways of accessing more of this consciousness so we can experience it and own it. In this way, what we raise is our individual and collective experience to become more conscious. It’s like a tree growing, continuing to add height, rings and branches. Only, for us, we must consciously do the work to grow.
If any of this resonates with you, please share a comment below. Your comments are so valuable for helping us all understand and process our experiences in a safe space. Next time, we’ll investigate and explore this “collective consciousness” concept further.
Till Next, and sent with Cosmic Hugs,

I loved "there may not be one other person in the entire room, or Universe for that matter, who would react the same way". It is so important to know that what we experience is valid for ourselves. That has been one of my lessons for this past year that although I may not experience accessing the higher consciousness the same way as others doesn’t mean my experience is incorrect. By paying attention to my body I learned how I feel when I connect and I trust that. If my mind starts questioning that trust I tell my mind to go sit down and grab a magazine until I’m ready to let it be in charge again.

Very well articulated, Suzanne! I continue to slough off many ‘programmed behaviors’ which is off-putting to many. But I consider it part of my purpose to ‘push the envelope’ and open up new discussions.

The creator told me that all things are a manifestation of love. Everything is connected through our Creator. All our consciousness is one within creation and its many levels.

It seems I’ve been letting go of the not working for life times, and yet it’s been a few years since about 2012. Recently I have been more conscious of the need for change. I have worked on my chakras a lot and sometimes feel and sense being so open. Then other times I don’t seem to feel/sense anything, I guess it’s eb and flow? I “accidentally “ figured out how to feel my guidance and in doing so when I ask for help I sense them/light/energy ; have experienced some powerful healings. I believe these self healings have even impacted my mother and daughter? I’m realizing the stories I’ve played in do not serve me and I’m done with most of them except for being mama esa as long as I can. Peace, purity, harmony and healing to all

At times my consciousness is and uncomfortable companion, teaming with judgement, comparison, and self-recrimination. It’s no fun to be conscious then. Invariably, if I can just mentally stay with it, it shifts on its own. The silliness subsides. I often have a sense of the seat of the “watching” self moving from my roiling guts to a airy place above my right shoulder. I have found it does no good to force this move. It only helps to sit safely in the chaos and stress until the movement occurs in its own good time. Thank you for this blog.
