Hear how this client drives herself crazy by feeling as if she has to do, do, do… for everyone not leaving much energy for herself at the end of the day.

This is the first time listened to one of these broadcasts. I found it wonderful. Thank you. Do I sign up or join something to get more? Please let me know.
Hi Suzanne! I talk a lot with the hospice volunteers I manage about BEING vs DOING. Esp. newer volunteers are worried about what to “do” with their patients. It’s hard to change your frame of mind to NOT worry about that and to instead realize that “just” being there is what really matters. Sometimes doing things happens organically … but I encourage them not to plan on “doing” anything at all. It’s the best gift to give their patient, being … (and it’s great practice to make this personal change too!) Our whole society is abt doing, doing, doing … go, go, go! That is stressful! Breathe deeply, and “be”! You will still do things, but I’ll bet you’ll even see changes about how and what you do!! –Ruth

This explains so many things about my late wife. This changes my viewpoint about her. Master/victim makes a lot of sense.
Thank you Suzanne!

I am glad that someone’s story could still shed light on things for you and for her! That is why sharing is a great thing!!
