A sisterhood is whatever group forms to stand by each other through thick and thin, always there for one another as each one in the group makes their way through relationships, careers and different life journeys both positive and negative. As a collective and as individuals, each one is there to celebrate your joy as much as hold space for your pain and you do the same for them.
Right now when the current energies are really testing each one of us in so many different ways, good, bad and oh sooooo ugly, this is the time to search out that sisterhood of support and encouragement—to gather with your tribe. It may be your closest family members, friends and more, to have a good time together, talking, laughing, sharing and creating. Together, you give and receive the love, support and compassion each of you needs from one another. It is an unconditional give and take action and reaction to life.
Right now it is important to make sure you create the time and space to be inspired and join forces with like-minded people. This sort of collaboration creates its own unique high-vibrational energy, which in turn reminds us we are all here to do amazing things together.
Our card pull this month, the Three of Cups, is also all about the water element—and it is water’s nature to flow freely and thereby find the path of least resistance. Pliz reminds us that going with the flow of collective emotion means contributing to the well being of the environment, according to one’s inner being, without neglecting one’s own individuality.
When we take care of our self, we take care of others. When we take care of others, we take care of our self. The individual energy and the collective energy become one.
No matter what our sisterhood—our soul-family, our tribe, or group—looks like, the whole is more than the sum of it’s parts for the emotional condition of each individual and singular human being involved has influence on the collective climate they create together. I have no right or capacity to change the other. But as I bring something positive to the table, per se, it offers something to the collective outcome. This in turn has its effect on material manifestation, meaning how we support each other assists on how each of us individually and ultimately creates our collective reality. It is the meaning of the famous line about how “man reaps what he sows.”
As we all traverse the last difficult months of the 2021 year where we will continue to work hard at letting go of what no longer serves us, the message of this card is timely. It offers insight on how to get ready to embrace what we DO want to create for the incoming year of 2022 and the 5D energies. The Three of Cups gives us the recipe on how to do this: seeing it as our opportunity to let our hair down and forget about our day-to-day commitments and obligations for a while….and instead, spend quality time with friends and family and enjoy us!
Collaborate with others on creative projects. Inspire one another. Encourage each other to reach new heights. And work towards a common goal with our Sisterhoods for the greater good of others.
Remember, too, that when we reach out to others and band together, it is a win/win for everyone involved by sharing our positive energy and passion with the wider community. It is all about raising the individual vibration which anchors the collective one.
Three of Cups
Deck: Ananda Deck by Ananda Kurt Pilz
Suit: Minor Arcana
Traditional meaning: Connection, cheerfulness, collective consciousness, fertility, gratefulness, fulfillment, celebrations, acceptance, friendship, creativity, collaborations.
Pilz image description: Above a fertile, charming summer landscape, three glasses of red wine hover, as if on a higher level. (To respect the author’s copyright, we do not post original card artwork of the Ananda Tarot on our site.)
Traditional Rider deck description: In the Three of Cups, three young women are dancing with each other in a circle, raising their cups high in the air in a toast of joy and celebration. They look to one another with appreciation, honor and respect, and are bound by their emotional connection and friendship. There is a sense of lifting each other up and celebrating each woman’s unique contribution to the group. The ground is layered with flowers, fruit and a pumpkin, symbolizing the celebration of an abundant harvest and the goodness in life.
“By participating in celebrations as they come, common agreement finds its expression in mutual, shared joy. Experiences of desire, zest for life, and cheerfulness can then be gratefully accepted as a gift of life.”
– Ananda Kurt Pilz
The Three of Cups is a card of celebration, friendship, sisterhood, and creative collaborations. The Sisterhood message of this cared is vital – it is here to support us and lift us up to even higher levels of success. Whatever form that Sisterhood takes on, learn how to celebrate with them and enjoy their camaraderie. It may indeed be a biological group of sisters, but it may also be any form of individuals (male or female) that resonate with the feminine qualities of heart-felt non-judgmental compassion, love and support.
Reversed card meaning: While the upright Three of Cups is a card of friendship and social events, the reversal of this card suggests that you would prefer to go it alone right now. You may have recently spent a lot of time with others and now just need some alone time. Or perhaps you are no longer ‘clicking’ with some of your friends or a social group and are ready to move on.
If you are involved in a creative project, now may be the time to work independently rather than in a group because possibly you are feeling stifled or held back and are not willing to sacrifice your creative abilities in favor of the group’s vision.
The reversed Three of Cups may also appear as a message to take some time off to recuperate if overexerted or showing signs of overindulgence – it may be time to step back and take some time out – then eventually gain the support of like-minded friends before returning to reality.
Meat Memo…Tips for Each Plane
Physical Plane Tips (how to work with your body):
Key understanding: Zest for Life
As this card so eloquently states – it is time to physically get out and connect with your like-minded tribe. Use your body, mind and spirit to create and collaborate. Get outside, go out to a restaurant, have a party, take a vacation. It is all about emBODYing!! This beautiful human vessel is designed to experience on behalf of Source energy, so get out and have some experiences to remember!
Emotional Plane Tips (how to work with your emotions):
Key understanding: Letting Emotions Flow
Our human vehicle is designed to not just co-create our reality but to truly experience it with a full spectrum of emotion. Most humans have stifled or limited their ability to feel, and some have shut the frequencies off completely. Others have become adept at stuffing their emotions and none of these assist the human body to flow. Being aware of attachment to emotions is a level of mastery and an important skill set to navigate the current energies.
Mental Plane Tips (how to work with your mind):
Key Understanding: Mutual Agreement
Mutually Agreed upon means both parties’ are in agreement on a proposed action. This takes place in the mental field. Why I put this here is because when we become proficient at energy – we understand that in many cases the mutual agreement is really to agree to possibly dis-agree and that is perfect! This kind of balance in the mental field is a practiced skill but offers oh so much freedom to the mind and body!
Spiritual Plane Tips (how to work with spirit):
Key Understanding: Fullness
This is a difficult idea to put into words but I thought I would give it my best shot here. When I think of being connected to Source – it is as if I am filling my tank with the gasoline of consciousness. Until it is completely FULL. When I teach I use the metaphor of our human “vehicle” utilizing our chakras as destination points for our “fuel” or consciousness connection to Source and the auric field as out “tank” to hold the fuel. When all of these are in sync – we are able to not only fill – but refill as needed in any why we choose. It is our own self-responsibility to own FULLNESS.
Cool Tool – Feelings Wheel and Pendulum Ideas
Since this month’s card highlights EMOTIONS and feelings, I thought to share creative ways to tap into and clear emotional energy.
A Feeling Wheel is tool for helping us expand our vocabulary to more accurately understand and describe what we feel. There are all sorts of Feeling Wheels you can purchase as tool to have handy every day, from stickers to keychains to throw pillows and more. Check out a Etsy.com to find what kind of creative tool resonates with you.
I personally am considering purchasing one of the feelings-wheels, but always continue to use my pendulum to help identify and move through emotional energies. If you’re new to pendulum work, here’s a great article for more info!
